Consultant Radiologist & Honorary UCL Clinical Tutor - (Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital)
Has a unique engaging method of teaching, will be explaining what cases to expect in the OSCE, with strategies on how to approach the exam. He has beenan honorary clinical tutor since 2007. Qaiser has always been a keen medical educator and spends much of his time in undergraduate medical education. He has been awarded the 'Top Teacher Award' for four years now and this year won the EMEA (excellence in medical education award). Qaiser teaches regularly on a weekly basis and his sessions have become legendary over the years. He has subspecialised in cross-sectional imaging, musculoskeletal and intervention, and has recently appointed a consultant at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital.

Mr Samuel Adebola BSs MBBS MRCS(Eng)
SpR Surgery- (Southend University Hospital)
Will be demonstrating how to approach the surgical patient in the OSCE. In particular the abdomen, arterial & venous systems, lumps & bumps, scars and stomas. Sam has recently completed the MRCS examination with high grades and is perfectly placed to teaching the MBBS OSCE. His interest lies in lower GI surgery. He has been a regular teacher at the extended UCL sites and has a particularly engaging style.

Mr Tahir Mahmud BSc, MBBS, MRCS(Eng), FRCS (Tr & Orth)
SpR Orthopaedics (Chelsea & Westminster Hospital)
Extremely popular style of teaching. Will be simplifying the examination of the various joints and also explaining the common surgical interventions and xray findings. Tahir is adept at explaining the somewhat complicated orthopaedic examinations. His simple but effective routines are easy to learn and during the course he demonstrates these clearly. Tahir is a popular lecturer who has a wealth of experience, in particular working in the teaching hospital environment. Tahir has done some charity work with MSF, and draws on his experiences abroad to bring a different dimension to the session. He is currently working at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, and will be going to Canada to complete a fellowship in lower limb reconstruction in 2009.

Dr Tabish Saifee BSc MBBS MRCP (Lond)
SpR Neurology (Royal Free Hospital)
A very popular teacher with a depth of teaching experience including Undergraduate level, Masters and Diploma in Neurology at Queen Square to teaching at MRCP level. He has been commended with Top Teachers awards for 2 consecutive years by University College London for his Undergraduate teaching of Neurology. He has examined for OSCEs on numerous occasions and has a first hand knowledge of what is required to pass with confidence. Tabish has trained as a Specialist Registrar at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square and The Royal Free Hospital. He has recently been awarded an NIHR Research Fellowship and will begin his research into Movement Disorders at the Institute of Neurology in 2009.

Three new additions to the team last year proved to be very popular. They are all keen teachers and will be explaining how to approach the short OSCE as well as the history taking and ethics stations. Having all been successful recently in the UCL MBBS examination, they can provide valuable insight into recent developments. Will be going through, data intrepretation, death certificates, drug charts, fundoscopy, common hisories and ethical scenarios.
