QCourses was started by Dr Qaiser Malik in 2006 following the phenomenal demand for his particular style of teaching. Having qualified from Imperial College of Medicine, he worked as Medical SHO and gained the MRCP qualification. After which he did rotations in Paediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Subsequently he worked as a Medical Registrar for a period of 1 year and ultimately decided to pursue a career in Radiology, thereby bringing together his myriad of experience over the years.

During his career, Qaiser has always been teaching, and has perfected the art of getting across concepts and ideas so that they are easy to understand. Students have voted him one of the 'teachers of the year' for 3 years running now and he won a prestigious EMEA (excellence in medical education award) in 2009.

QCourses was designed to formalize the teaching so that there was structured approach to dealing with the OSCE, which is often the hardest and most daunting part of the finals. We at QCourses have discussed with examiners, listened to previous experiences of students and come up with a course that is not only extremely useful, perfectly pitched but also very enjoyable. The handout has developed into an almost 100 page booklet and has been used by candidates for the PACES exam.

QCourses aims to provide you with the tools to pass the OSCE and also to be a competent junior doctor, all in a friendly and non-stressful manner.
